Title: When Your Finances Fall Short

The Point: Trust in God is far richer than financial prosperity.

Life Connection: Six out of ten Americans believe money can buy happiness, or it would if they made

$284,000 every year. [https://www.empower.com/the-currency/money/research-financial- happiness] Others joke, saying, “I know money doesn’t buy happiness, but I’d like to find out on my own.” We’d settle for creature comforts, satisfied with a flush bank account, when God wants so much more for us. There’s no true security or contentment in these things that do not last. God offers us something more secure and comforting—and it’s eternal.
